The purpose of our new Friendship Kitchen group is to bring ladies together who eat alone and would like to fellowship with other ladies. Cooking the meal and sharing it are also part of the groups' purpose. We have met 3 times and 15 different ladies have participated.
We have had:
an initial meal prepared by the participants while getting to know someone new,
a picnic supper with fresh strawberry pie and
a hot dog roast over an open fire (after the fire ban was lifted).
We enjoy each other's company and we also have a short Bible study plus an activity to get to know each other better.
If you would be interested in this, please contact either Marilyn Sagreant or Nancy Robinson.
We meet about once a month.
