Meet The Staff

 Rev. Dana Benson Rev. Benson was ordained in September 2012 and inducted into her first charge at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Owen Sound, in November 2012. She completed a Master of Arts (Theological Studies) at Regent College, Vancouver in 2002, and, after attending Knox College, completed a Master of Divinity at Tyndale Seminary in 2012. Her work experiences are diverse and eclectic including wilderness guide, school bus driver, parachurch ministry worker, running instructor, and university professor. Dana is married to Randy (also an ordained minister in the PCC), and together they have 2 kids: William, Alice. Included in her many passions are wilderness tripping, all things textile-ish or wooly, and inviting people to discover the power and presence of God in our midst.

Mary Wyrzykowski - Financial Assistant Mary was born and raised in Wiarton. After receiving an Accounting Degree from University of Guelph and Business Administration Diploma at Humber College, she couldn't wait to get out of the city and return home to Grey-Bruce. Now she lives in the greater metropolitan area of Bognor with her husband Andrew, and son Rueben. They love to play and spend time with each-other outside. Mary is in charge of the money coming in and going out, and she is very excited to be able to use her skills to serve His Kingdom. She would be happy to speak with you about church finances and the many ways you can contribute financially to St. Andrew’s

Bev Wilkins, R.N., C.V.N., WIP - Congregational Visiting Nurse Bev has been our Congregational Visiting Nurse for 10 years. She has been a visiting nurse for over 15 years in the Grey Bruce area.  She works as a Health Coach to help you navigate through the System. Her heart and ears are open to your needs whether grief, advocacy or knowledge to make an informed decision.

Matthew Allard - Organist & Choir Director

The choir is very happy to welcome Matthew as our new organist and choir director. After finishing his masters degree at Oxford University he decided to pursue teaching. In the last five years he has taught in many places, Thompson Manitoba Toronto Area, and Yorkshire England. Matthew has written a number of commissioned compositions,  that have been performed in the UK, Australia and Canada. Matthew’s talents include playing many instruments, organ, piano, banjo, guitar, recorder, hurdy-gurdy, tuba and trombone. The choir feels so fortunate to have Matthew and we also welcome his wife, Catherine and their two year old son, William.
